Product Description

The rubber expansion joint is generally composed of a smooth waveform compensation element with rubber flanges at both ends and a metal flange. Loose tube structure is often adopted for metal flange.

Brief introduction:
The surface of the waveform compensation element is rubber, and the inner layer is sandwich reinforced by several layers of strong fibers or steel strips (wires). The reinforcing interlayer such as reinforcing fiber or steel strip (wire) extends to the rubber flange at both ends, and there is a hard steel wire skeleton in the flange. The rubber expansion joint has a large displacement compensation capacity, which can compensate axial, transverse and angular displacement, reduce noise, reduce vibration and have a certain anti-corrosion capacity. It is characterized by high pressure resistance, good elasticity, large displacement, good vibration absorption and noise reduction effect, and convenient installation, and can be widely used in water supply and drainage, HVAC, fire protection, compressor, paper making, pharmaceutical, ship, water pump, fan and other pipeline systems.

Selection description of flexible rubber joint:
1. The general applicable temperature of rubber joint is - 200~70 ºC. The instantaneous temperature can reach 115 ºC, and the service temperature is 70~115 ºC.
2. Flange rubber joint can be selected with a limiting device when the working pressure and temperature are high (diameter is above 200, temperature is above 70 ºC, and working pressure is above 1.5Mpa).
3. For the rubber joint connected by flange, the bolts connecting the flange shall be threaded from the inner side of the flange to both ends of the flange respectively during installation, with washers or spring washers provided, and the bolts shall be gradually tightened diagonally.
The rubber joint connected by the union shall not be replaced at the left and right ends during installation, so as to avoid leakage or damage of the product.
