Rubber expansion joints consist of inner and outer rubber, nylon cord fabric which are vulcanized and then combined with metal flanges or loose sleeves of parallel joints.
This product can reduce vibration and noise, and compensate thermal expansion and contraction caused by temperature change. It is widely used in various pipeline systems.
Expansion Joint Bellows Compensator is made of SUS304 material, multiply bellows with features of lower elasticity coefficient, high-temperature and high-pressure resisiting, applied to absorb the expansion or copression of the HTM fluid pipeline. It can make a long service life in piping system.
Improve the flow circulation and avoid the bellow deformation. Absorbs thermal expansion and shock. Structure: bellows + flat welding flanges. Main material: Compensates converting misalignment Bellows: stainless steel 304. Flanges: stainless steel 304 or carbon steel. Compensates for exhaust converter misalignment
Maintenance of rubber expansion joint
1. regular check should be performed in the long-term use of rubber expansion joint. It is recommended to check the aging degree, skin abrasion and flange abrasion once a week.
2. surface cleaning work. Daily cleaning of the hose surface, keep the manufacturing raw materials clean, remove the corrosive materials from the expansion joint surface.
3. When the rubber expansion joint is always in contact with the frictional surface, protective bushing should be used to reduce the coefficient of friction, increase the service life and prevent aging.
4. For the used rubber expansion joint, if not for a long time to clean up the material in the tube flow, and then through the medium closed preservation.
5. When storing the rubber expansion joint, don't put it outdoors, otherwise it will be polluted and hose aging due to sunshine or other factors.
6. Because the rubber expansion joint belong to one molding, it will not recommended to repair. When we find that the rubber expansion joint is broken ,it should be changed immediately to avoid personnel injury and accidents.
