Working Principle:
Corrugated compensator is a kind of compensation device used to absorb the size change of pipeline, conduit or container caused by thermal expansion and cold contraction by using the effective expansion deformation of the elastic element of the corrugated compensator, which belongs to a compensation element. It can absorb axial, transverse and angular displacement.
Effect:
1. Compensate the axial, transverse and angular cold and hot deformation of the absorption pipe.
2. The expansion and contraction of the corrugated compensator is convenient for the installation and removal of the valve pipe.
3. Absorb equipment vibration and reduce the impact of equipment vibration on pipeline.
4. Absorb the deformation of pipeline caused by earthquake and ground subsidence.
Testing:
As different types of ripple compensators have different compensation forms, there are mainly axial, transverse, angular and combined compensation modes. For the ripple compensator with multiple displacements at the same time, its various displacements shall be combined to obtain the total equivalent axial displacement. The detection is for the total equivalent axial displacement. In other words, the measurement of the nominal displacement of the ripple compensator is the measurement of the total equivalent axial displacement.
The nominal displacement of the universal bellows is actually the capacity of the given nominal displacement deformation of the bellows. The expansion joints (compensators) and compensators made of corrugated pipes are usually called compensation quantities, which reflect the ability of corrugated pipes to absorb the displacement of the system and represent the maximum compensation capacity of the product under certain conditions. During normal operation, the bellows shall absorb the system displacement and produce displacement deformation, and at the same time, ensure a certain number of normal and safe working displacement cycles. Therefore, the bellows is designed with a certain number of ripples according to the displacement that each wave can bear. When each wave is uniformly bearing the displacement load and there is no local overload, the bellows can work normally. When the design is reasonable, a certain number of cycles of design working displacement can be guaranteed. In JB/T 6169-92 "Metal Bellows" standard, the detection of this performance is specified.
