During the test, the ambient temperature of the rubber expansion joint shall not be lower than 5 ºC. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5 ºC, antifreeze method shall be adopted. When the rubber expansion joint and equipment are tested as a system, and the test pressure of the rubber flexible connection is equal to or less than the test pressure of the equipment, the test shall be conducted according to the test pressure of the rubber flexible connection; When the test pressure of rubber flexible connection is more than 3 times of the equipment test pressure, and the equipment test pressure is not less than 15 times of the pull-out pressure, the test can be conducted according to the equipment test pressure with the consent of the construction unit. The test pressure of the rubber expansion joint increases slowly. After reaching the test pressure, the pressure of the rubber expansion joint is stabilized, and then the test pressure is reduced to the planned pressure.
