Slip on flange refers to a flange connected with a vessel or pipe by fillet weld. Belongs to arbitrary flange. Slip on flange is divided into hubbed slip-on flange and slip on plate flange.
Compared with weld neck flange, slip on flange has simple structure and save raw material, but its stiffness and tightness are not as good as butt welded flange. Slip on flange are widely used to connect medium and low pressure vessels and pipelines.
